Mrs. Outdoors Guy and I love fishing. It is something we do regularly at our cottage throughout the summer. She targets e sox lucius , or northern pike, whilst I look for the more difficult to catch e sox masquinongy. Her biggest pike this summer was a large 36.5” beast, weighing an estimated 13-pounds. Her personal best. My record with muskie this summer? A small handful of follows and one lost fish. Nothing to write home about as they say. The mighty muskellunge, famous for being finicky, are considered one of the most difficult to catch fish, but fall is when my odds improve slightly, and yours too
