MARS HILL, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Mars Hill Police Department reports it is investigating after two people were injured in a shooting at a Halloween party over the weekend.
Officers said they were called to a rental home on South Main Street on Saturday, where people attending a Halloween party reported a shooting had taken place.
Two people with gunshot wounds were taken from the residence to Mission Hospital in Asheville, where they received treatment, according to police.
Officers said they are not able to release any information about suspects or a motive at this time.
