A California animal shelter has rescued an unusually large number of small pets after a hoarding case.
According to a press release shared by the Pasadena Humane on Thursday, Oct. 30, the shelter took in 31 mice and 63 hamsters, with some of the rodents being pregnant, making the rescue one of the largest small-animal hoarding cases in the organization’s recent history.
