Dang police on Monday arrested a man for his alleged involvement in the murder of a 25-year-old woman named Bhavishya Bhoye who went missing two years ago from her house in Dharpada village.

According to police, the accused is identified as 29-year-old Dinesh Deshmukh, a resident of Ghod-Vohar village in Ahwa taluka in Dang. Deshmukh has confessed to having killed Bhoye, who lived four kilometres from his house, on February 10, 2023.

During the investigation, the location of the accused’s mobile phone was found at the same spot where the dead body was discovered in 2023.
