COLUMBUS, Ohio — Secretary of State Frank LaRose has released final early and absentee voting numbers ahead of Ohio’s General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 4 , showing nearly 400,000 voters have already cast their ballots.
According to the updated Absentee and Early Voting Data Dashboard, 452,783 ballots were requested, and 399,918 have been returned statewide — an overall return rate of 88.3%.
Absentee by mail: 189,732 ballots requested, 136,867 returned (72.1% return rate)
Early in-person: 263,051 ballots requested and returned (100% return rate, since is same-day voting)
LaRose said the dashboard, maintained by the Secretary of State’s Office of Data Analytics and Archives, reflects Ohio’s commitment to election transparency.
