CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Drivers in South Carolina paid nearly a nickel less per gallon of gas last week, according to a weekly survey of stations across the state.
The average price per gallon in the state was $2.64 as of Monday morning, according to GasBuddy. South Carolina gas prices are 13.1 cents lower than one month ago and 11.1 cents lower than a year ago.
Gas prices across South Carolina ranged from a low of $2.35 per gallon to a high of $3.54.

The lowest price in the Lowcountry on Monday was $2.44, recorded at two stations in Walterboro.
