Members of the Delaware State Senate are scheduled to return to Legislative Hall once again.

President Pro Tempore Dave Sokola announced the Senate will return to Dover on Nov. 6 to consider and discuss legislation in connection to the deadline for property tax payments in New Castle County.

This announcement comes after a long-awaited ruling from a Delaware Chancery Court judge, who upheld legislative efforts that granted New Castle County school boards to impose “separate tax rates” for residential and non-residential properties.
