PLATTEVILLE, Wis. (WKOW) -- The Grant County Sheriff's Office is investigating a reported hit-and-run crash from Oct. 29.

According to Sheriff Craig Reukauf, the crash happened on US Highway 151, near County Highway D, in Platteville Township.

A news release stated that a 2012 Dodge Avenger was traveling north on 151 when a semi that was hauling gravel crossed into the car's lane and hit the front end of the vehicle. The semi did not stop and continued north toward Lafayette County.

The driver of the Avenger was not hurt, but the car could not be driven following the crash.
