With a goal of $60,000, funds raised will allow post-production to start this year, much sooner than would be possible if filmmakers relied solely on traditional film funding sources, a media release says.
The collapse occurred during construction of a pumping station in the North Kent community.
It ranked as Ontario’s worst workplace tragedy in terms of deaths at the time, but public memory of the event disappeared.
