A Denver man arrested last year after being caught in a Larimer County child predator sting took a deal and pleaded guilty to attempted child sex assault, according to court records.
Malcom Cardelle McCrea, 37, was sentenced last week to 8 years of probation in the sex offender intensive supervision program and two years of community corrections as a condition of his parole, court records show.
McCrea pleaded guilty to attempted child sex assault and a cybercrime charge for soliciting a minor for prostitution, both felonies. The deal dropped additional felony charges of soliciting child prostitution and attempted to patronize a prostituted child from his case, according to court records.
