Nina Dobrev is taking a bite out of the Big Apple.

Nearly two months after her sudden breakup from fiancé Shaun White , the " Vampire Diaries " star shared a glimpse into her life lately with a surprising update: She moved to New York City.

The 36-year-old revealed she’d swapped coasts on her Instagram Stories Nov. 1 alongside a photo of herself holding up a set of keys with an apple-shaped keychain bearing an image of a New York City skyline and the words "New York." As Dobrev gushed, "She's a New Yorker."

Though the "Degrassi" alum had suggested she was spending more time on the East Coast on social media lately, she had previously been in the process of renovating a home in Los Angeles with White ahead of their breakup.
