With the closing of all Rite Aid stores, hundreds of locations in Pennsylvania were left unoccupied.
But soon, one former Rite Aid store in Dauphin County will be home to a discount store.
The former Rite Aid store at 3601 Walnut St. in Susquehanna Township, outside of Harrisburg, will be home to a Dollar Tree, according to a sign on the building.
The sign says “Dollar Tree Coming Soon.”
Officials for Dollar Tree couldn’t immediately be reached for comment. It’s not clear when the store will open.
Multiple dumpsters have been placed outside the building.
Dollar Tree has more than 9,000 stores in the United States and Canada, including a number of stores in the region.
