ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester-area's original Jeremiah's Tavern is now open, following major renovations on Monroe Avenue.
The work took nearly four months to complete. Crews preserved the original brickwork in the main dining rooms, and focused on the bar area for a significant transformation.
Jeremiah's Tavern first opened on Monroe Ave. in 1978. The franchise has been active for almost 50 years, with two other locations in Penfield and Henrietta.
The Monroe Ave. restaurant has the same menu and wing sauces — more than a dozen of them. News 8's Natalie Kucko caught up with staff for a look inside.
