A crash sparked severe delays on the M11 southbound in Essex between junction 7 (Harlow) and junction 6 (M25) this evening.

The collision initially prompted the closure of two of three lanes on the M11 southbound, but all lanes have now been reopened. Essex Police, recovery crews and National Highways Traffic Officers remain on site.

A spokesperson from National Highways said: "If this closure impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time. Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey.
