The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) on Monday announced a major cash reward scheme to celebrate India’s young achievers from the Youth Asian Games held recently in Bahrain.
Under the new initiative, gold, silver and bronze medalists will receive ₹5 lakh, ₹3 lakh, and ₹2 lakh respectively, while fourth-place finishers will also be rewarded with ₹50,000 each.

Adding to the celebrations, both the gold-winning men’s and women’s kabaddi teams will each receive ₹10 lakh, recognizing their dominant performances at the continental event. Coaches, too, haven’t been forgotten — each medal-winning coach will receive ₹1 lakh for their contribution.
