RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — The Richland County Sheriff’s Department says it is investigating a reported incident at Turning Point Church after a man interrupted a worship service on Oct. 12 and caused concern among parishioners.
Deputies say the department received the report on Oct. 16. The caller told deputies that a man banged on the sanctuary door, was allowed inside and later walked toward the pastor while yelling and causing a disturbance. Members of the church escorted the man outside, where he got into a vehicle and left.
No suspect has been identified, and no arrests have been made.
