MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WSMV) - WSMV4 Investigates has uncovered why the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is investigating the City of Mt. Juliet’s IT department.
Personnel records for the city’s former IT director and an IT technician, obtained by WSMV4, show the two are accused of selling old city-owned cell phones to make a private profit.
They’re also accused of engaging in sexual activity while on the job, the records detail. The accusations against Travis Taylor and River Johnson led to both of them being terminated in early October by the city.
Not long after, District Attorney General Jason L. Lawson requested the TBI investigate allegations against Taylor and Johnson.
