LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Slugger has once again cemented its place in baseball history following the 2025 World Series.
Will Smith delivered the biggest swing of the series, hitting a game-winning homerun for Los Angeles in the 11th inning and beating the Toronto Blue Jays 5-4 to win their second consecutive championship.
Louisville Slugger officials confirmed Smith used his D200 Powerized Birch signature model bat made at its downtown factory. The bat is 34-inches long and 31.5 ounces, with a natural wood handle and black gloss finish barrel.
Smith used a similar bat during the 2025 season.
He is now part of three world championship teams – 2020, 2024 and 2025.
Smith has always had ties to Louisville Slugger. He’s a Louisville native, played baseball at St. Matthews Little League
