CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A home in Clearfield County was destroyed on Monday after a fire.
Multiple crews were called to the area of Main Street and Buelah Street for a report of a house fire. Houtzdale-Ramey Fire Company chief Jeff Arnold Jr. confirmed that they responded just before 4 p.m. on Oct. 3 and arrived to find fire showing on the first and second floors with smoke coming from the attic.
The homeowners were not in the house when the fire started, and no injuries were reported. Firefighters were able to get the fire under control in about half an hour, but the home was deemed a total loss.
Arnold noted that the fire burned out the second floor, which made it difficult to access the attic.
Arnold estimated that 10 companies responded to the scene and added that the fire
