FRANKLIN, Ky. – The Simpson County Animal Shelter is sharing its success from a special visit over the weekend.
The shelter says Steve-O stopped by on Saturday for a meet and greet, inspiring the community to visit and adopt some pets.
In total, the shelter says it received 26 adoption applications during the event.
Rescuers say they will begin processing the applications the beginning of this week.
The shelter also thanked volunteers, employees, the Simpson County Sheriff’s Office for directing traffic and Little Caesar’s for donating pizzas.
