Lisa Wilkinson and Peter FitzSimons have finally sold their Sydney Edwardian mansion after listing the lavish home for $23 million.

The listing states the mansion was sold by private treaty on October 28.

The sale comes weeks after The Project host and journalist’s home on Bennett Street in the suburb of Cremorne on the city’s Lower North Shore was passed in at auction on a $24.5 million vendor bid in September.

Lisa and Peter bought the property, Ingleneuk, in 1998 for $2.95 million, meaning any sale close to the price guide, which is 23 times higher than the national median house price, would yield a profit of about $20 million.

It’s understood the high-profile couple plan to downsize in neighbouring Mosman after their three adult children, Billi, Jake, and Louis, moved out.
