SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
California voters are making a key decision in Tuesday’s special election — whether or not to redraw congressional districts in a way that could favor Democrats.
Election officials say don’t wait to vote.
Filling out your ballot will take less than a minute, and at this point, it’s best to drop it off in person if you can.
To make sure your ballot is counted:
Return it to a drop box or vote center before 8 p.m. on Election Day.
Vote-by-mail ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day to count.
If you’re unsure your ballot will arrive in time by mail, you can bring it to any polling place between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. tomorrow.
This weekend, Sacramento County opened 14 additional vote centers.
