ALBANY, Ore. – A 73-year-old Mill City woman died on Thursday after her vehicle was struck nearly head on near Albany on Highway 20, according to the Oregon State Police.
OSP officials said they responded at 4:20 p.m. on Oct. 30 to a two-vehicle crash near milepost 4 on Highway 20. An eastbound Ford F150 and flatbed railer driven by a 47-year-old Sweet Home man entered the westbound lane and struck nearly head-on a westbound Toyota 4Runner driven by Doranna Lee Morris, state police said. Authorities said that Morris was declared deceased at the scene while four passengers in the Toyota, which included one adult and three juveniles, were transported to an area hospital with reported minor injuries. The Ford’s driver was also transported to an area hospital with minor injuries, police said.
