LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - Gov. Jim Pillen confirmed on Monday that he has asked for the resignation of State Sen. Dan McKeon .
On Friday, the Nebraska Examiner reported that McKeon of Amherst, just northwest of Kearney, had been cited for public indecency after the Nebraska State Patrol received a report about an incident that occurred this past May at a “ sine die ” party held at the end of the legislative session.
According to the report, NSP issued McKeon a citation for public indecency — a Class II misdemeanor — on Thursday.
