Kentucky State Police Post 4 officers are looking for a man in connection with the Nov. 3 murder of a Meade County woman.
Mary Crase, 55, of Brandenburg, was found dead after officers responded to a report from the Meade County Sheriff’s Office about a deceased person at a residence in the Ekron community shortly before 1 p.m. According to a KSP news release, a preliminary investigation showed Crase sustained at least one gunshot wound.
KSP spokesperson Bryan Washer said investigators are now looking for Scott Hornback, 45, of Irvington, in connection with the case. Hornback is believed to be Crase's boyfriend.
