CLIFTON Colo. (KREX)- Authorities have identified two men killed in a Halloween night shooting in Clifton that investigators say began during a house party.
According to the Mesa County Coroner’s Office, 18-year-old Victor Reyes Jr. and 20-year-old Josiah Rosales, both of Grand Junction, died from multiple gunshot wounds. Their deaths have been ruled homicides.
Deputies with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office responded to multiple 911 calls around midnight on Oct. 31 at a home on the 400 block of Cottonwood Lake Drive. When they arrived, they found both victims with serious gunshot wounds. Deputies began CPR and other lifesaving efforts before the victims were transported to a hospital, where they were pronounced dead shortly after 12:50 a.m. on Nov. 1.
