SRINAGAR, Nov 3: Marking a positive step for the region’s tourism and entertainment industry in Kashmir, the film shooting was today resumed for the first time since the April 22, 2025 Pahalgam terror attack.

A South Indian film crew has begun shooting at scenic locations in the Valley, reflecting renewed confidence in the region’s security scenario.

Omer, also known as Sk Sam, casting Director at Casting Kashmir, said the incident had led many production houses to cancel their schedules in the Valley.

“After the Pahalgam attack, most film crews had cancelled their shooting plans in Kashmir. Now, as we begin this new project here, we hope more film crews will return to shoot in the Valley,” he said.
