CINCINNATI (WXIX) - One person is dead after a semi truck crashed into a broken-down vehicle on Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say a 2018 Lexus was parked on the right shoulder of eastbound State Route 126 in Sycamore Township Monday due to a flat tire.
At around 12:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the scene where a 2021 Peterbilt semi truck had crashed into the parked Lexus, sending them both off the right side of the roadway.
A 76-year-old man and a 71-year-old woman were inside the Lexus when it was hit.
Both were taken to Bethesda North Hospital, where the 76-year-old man died from his injuries.
