A Woodbridge man stabbed his live-in partner to death in their home and then dialed 911 and told a police dispatcher the victim was “done,” authorities allege.

Police officers arrived at the couple’s Elizabeth Avenue home in Iselin last Thursday morning and found Roosevelt Ogelsby with blood on his shirt and arms, and Marianne Straley in their kitchen, with stab wounds to her head and neck. A bloody knife was on a counter, court documents say.

Ogelsby, 63, is charged with murder and related weapon possession felonies for the killing of Straley, who was also 63, the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office announced Monday.
