Investigators are looking for anyone who witnessed a Halloween night pedestrian crash in Bernards Township that left a woman in critical condition.
The woman, a 42-year-old Basking Ridge resident, was struck shortly before 8:30 p.m. on Allen Road at the intersection of Vanderveer Drive, according to a joint statement from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office and the Bernards Township Police Department.
The woman was crossing northbound from left to right from the perspective of the driver and was using the marked crosswalk, the agencies said. She was taken to a local hospital and was listed in critical condition.
She was hit by a Bedminster Township resident who was driving a 2025 Toyota RAV4 west on Allen Road, authorities said.
