India now has more than 500 million gamers and smartphone brands are building performance specifically for this rapidly growing user base. OnePlus has announced its new OnePlus Gaming Technology architecture, created to deliver smoother, faster and more stable high frame rate gaming on mobile devices. The announcement was made at the One Plus Gaming Technology Event in Singapore.

The system is built around three core elements: OP Gaming Core, the OP Performance Tri Chip hardware system and OP FPS Max, a high frame rate gaming ecosystem. OnePlus says the architecture reworks how performance is allocated at the chip level to reduce lag, frame drops and overheating, which remain the biggest challenges in mobile gaming.
