The couple, Marc and Maxine Edwards, were surprised by the delightful guest who showed up during their ceremony in the Gold Coast's Currumbin Valley on October 25, 2025.

Posting the moment to social media, the videographers at Ever New Studio theorised that the bird may have been the incarnation of the bride's late father, or the groom's late mother, "blessing the couple from heaven."
