The California father accused of killing his infant son and falsely claiming he had been kidnapped was sentenced Monday to 25 years to life in prison.
Jake Haro, 32, was also sentenced to an additional six years for an earlier child abuse case, according to the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office .
The judge who presided over the murder charges linked to the death of 7-month-old Emmanuel Haro ordered the defendant to serve the sentences consecutively, the prosecutor’s office said in a news release.
