The dreaded “Drake Curse” is being partly blamed for the Toronto Blue Jays’ loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 7 of the World Series.

The rapper might have pushed his luck too far after he trolled Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani following the Blue Jays’ Game 5 World Series win as the team headed back to Toronto with a 3-2 series lead.

In a photo posted to his Instagram Stories, Drake re-shared an image of Ohtani whiffing on a third strike with Blue Jays pitcher Trey Yesavage already heading toward the Blue Jays dugout.

“Savage already (on the way) to the dugout boss lol,” he captioned the snap.

He then posted a photo of Ohtani beaming in a 2022 spread and wrote, “One more to go.”
