LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville police are investigating a shooting at Shawnee Park.

LMPD said around 5:15 p.m., officers were called to the incident at 45th and West Broadway. There, they found a man inside a vehicle who had been shot.

As officers were giving first aid, they were advised of a second man who had been shot in the arm. Police said they found him in the park and gave him medical attention until EMS could arrive.

Both men were taken to UofL Hospital, where they are expected to survive their injuries.

Detectives are working to learn more about what led up to the shooting and any possible relationships between the victims.
