JUNO BEACH, Fla. —

So far this year, Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Florida has rehabilitated and released 97 sea turtles, ranging from juveniles to adults, and over 1,183 hatchlings and washbacks.

Garret Wood drove in from the Orlando area with his family to watch their first sea turtle release and said, "It was awesome. Especially being a part of hundreds of people together, felt like I don't know a part of a community."

And speaking of community, it took an entire one to rescue this injured sea turtle from the ocean and bring her to Loggerhead Marinelife Center to be treated.
