Nakisa Bidarian, CEO of Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), confirmed the cancellation, saying the decision was made to “navigate this situation responsibly.” While the matchup is off, Bidarian emphasized that plans remain for Jake Paul to headline a Netflix event in 2025, with details on the new date, location, opponent, and undercard to be announced soon.

MVP and Netflix announced the cancellation on Monday, Nov. 3.
