LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Disruption to SNAP benefits have now left hundreds of thousands of Arkansans in search of help.
We have heard those concerns from a few Arkansans since last month, when many learned of the disruptions.
"It scares me to not know if I'm going to be able to get through with the next two months," explained Theresa Robertson with Better Community Development.
Since then, organizations across the state have stepped in to make sure those concerns don't become a reality.
"Even before, you know, leading up to this shutdown, we've been preparing and making sure that the infrastructures are in place to take care of each other, and we're going to keep doing that," said Jo Reinbold with Arkansas Community Advocates (ACA).
