An argument over switching off lights at a workplace in Bengaluru turned fatal on Saturday. A 41-year-old manager was allegedly killed by his colleague following an altercation at their workplace.

The incident took place at the office of a company named Data Digital Bank in Saraswathinagar around 1.30 am on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Chitradurga resident Bheemesh Babu, who managed a digital vault and photo-editing firm near MC Layout. On the other hand, the accused was identified as Somala Vamshi, 24, an Andhra Pradesh technical executive living in Nayandahalli. Vamshi surrendered to the Govindarajanagar police station shortly after committing the crime.
