KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Three East Tennessee restaurants have received a prestigious designation.
Monday night, J.C. Holdway and Potchke in Knoxville and RT Lodge in Maryville were among 159 restaurants in the American South to be designated “Recommended” by Michelin Guide.
The Michelin Guide was first published in France at the turn of the 20th century and is a respected restaurant rating system with all of its restaurants recommended by anonymous inspectors trained to apply “time-tested methods.”
Joseph Lenn, the chef and owner of J.C. Holdway, said it was an honor to be recognized alongside other fine dining restaurants across the South.
