CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The RUN, HIDE, FIGHT alert shook up many University of Virginia students and community members.

At 3:04 p.m., students received an alert sating there was an active attacker with a gun in the area of Shannon Library.
