Did you know that Amber Valletta was actually the first person to wear the iconic green Versace dress?!

While everyone associates the dress with Jennifer Lopez , who wore it to the Grammys in 2000, Amber actually modeled it on the runway in 1999… and now she’s back in the dress 26 years later.

Amber slipped back into the iconic look at the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday night (November 3) at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

Fashion designer Donatella Versace was honored with the Positive Change Award and Amber was there to help support her!

Amber opened up about wearing the dress while speaking with Vogue in April 2023.
