SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The Angelo State University volleyball team swept a pair of Lone Star Conference matches at home this past weekend, beating Eastern New Mexico in straight sets and topping No. 14 West Texas A&M in a four-setter at the Junell Center.

ASU is now 17-7 overall and 11-2 in conference.

Rambelles head coach Chuck Waddington thought his team could have had a stronger effort against ENMU on Friday, and he lit a fire under his players heading into the showdown with the No. 14 Lady Buffs on Saturday, and they took it to heart.

ASU will hit the road this weekend when the Belles face Midwestern State at 6 p.m. Friday in Wichita Falls, followed by a matchup against Lubbock Christian on Saturday.
