New Delhi: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has launched the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in nine major states, including Kerala, and three Union Territories from today. The exercise, aimed at ensuring accuracy and transparency in the voter rolls ahead of key state elections, will continue until December 4, followed by the publication of the draft voter list on December 9.

Door-to-Door Enumeration Begins

As part of the SIR process, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have begun visiting households across participating regions to collect and verify voter information.
