An Australian politician stunned onlookers with their attendance at US president Donald Trump’s opulent Halloween party in Florida.
A glittering Great Gatsby themed Halloween celebration took place on Friday at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, where Pauline Hanson was among the distinguished guests.
The One Nation leader, who recently celebrated her party’s surge in the polls, told Sky News host Andrew Bolt that she attended the high-profile event hosted by Trump himself.
This year’s party was titled “A Little Party Never Killed Nobody”, a nod to the Fergie hit from the 2013 film adaptation of The Great Gatsby.
Guests were filmed enjoying champagne, fine dining, and 1920s jazz as they mingled in the mansion’s gilded ballroom.
