Polling for the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students Union (JNUSU) elections began on Tuesday morning, marking the much-anticipated return of vibrant campus politics.

According to the JNUSU Election Committee, voting began at 9 am and will continue till 1 pm, followed by a second session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. A total of 9,043 students are eligible to vote in this year’s elections, with women making up 30 per cent of the electorate and men 70 per cent.

As many as 20 candidates are contesting for the four central panel posts – president, vice-president, general secretary and joint secretary.
