SHREVEPORT, La. — The victim of a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday in central Shreveport’s Claiborne neighborhood has been identified by the Caddo Parish Coroner's office.

Aundreya Griffin Anderson, 25, was shot while she and an another person were in a car. The incident occurred around 4:15 p.m. at the intersection of Claiborne Avenue and Queens Highway.

Anderson was traveling westbound when she was struck. She was transported to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, where she was pronounced deceased at 4:59 p.m. Her identity was confirmed through fingerprint comparison.

The shooting remains under investigation by the Shreveport Police Department.
