INDIANAPOLIS — Although partial SNAP benefits are being restored by the Trump Administration, advocates for Hoosiers in need say the struggle is still very real for hundreds of thousands of families. It's still considered an emergency for people in danger of going hungry.

Now, Gleaners Food Bank is taking new action to help fill the gaps.

"They'll be getting less than they're used to. It'll run out sooner than they expect it to. We don't know what's happening next, which is part of the reason at Gleaners, we're keeping our foot on the gas to take a lot of the measures we announced last week, plus some of the new ones to help our neighbors in need. SNAP was always supplemental. This isn't enough to feed their families - already - and now it's going be less than what was already not enough
