Syracuse, N.Y. – Redshirt sophomore guard Deng Garang (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Grimes) scored 16 points to lead the Le Moyne College men’s basketball team to a 94-50 season-opening win over SUNY Cobleskill on Monday night at Ted Grant Court.

Garang tallied 11 of his game-high point total in the second half, while finishing the game with five rebounds and three assists. Junior guard Tennessee Rainwater (Davenport, Wash./Davenport/Utah Tech) registered 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the field in his Dolphin debut. Freshmen guard Eli Greenberg (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville) and Josiah Lee (Snohomish, Wash./Glacier Peak) each posted 12 points off the bench in their collegiate debuts, while Greenberg had three assists and two steals and Lee grabbed four rebounds.
