For the first time in 17 years, Sault Ste. Marie’s Malone Sisters will perform together as a five-sister group in celebration of the Precious Blood Cathedral centenary. Carol Ann, Colleen, Erin, Karen and Patty last sang publicly together in 1958.

Contract for construction of an $80,000 main lodge at Wakonda Camp has been let to Northern Builders. Dimensions of the new lodge are to be 30 by 80 feet with the west 30 by 20 feet devoted to kitchen, tuck shop and storage. The building will run east and west paralleling the shore of McCarrel’s Lake.
